This class will be taught in 2 sessions.

Learn the techniques of oil landscape painting by completing 10 x 20 canvas using a subject inspired by 19th century American painter Albert Bierstadt in the style of the the Hudson River School of painters where the painters believed in a connection between the the artist's creation and God's creation. The main masses of the paintings were composed of cool greens, grays and browns to capture the enormous vistas of the rugged American landscape.

We will be using Water-Mixable oils and start with a transparent underpainting, learning to mix colors and color relationships and the use of different brushes.

All supplies are included for this 2 session class
