This fun filled painting class will be all about acrylic paints and still life paintings!

We will look at art history and see the different types and styles of still life and portraiture to help inspire us! Techniques of acrylic painting will be explored first along with styles and history of still life paintings!

The first painting we will do will be a Nadia Cupcake Inspired Still Life Painting! Real Nadia cupcakes will be provided and are included in the price (1 per artist). At the end of the first day of class the artists will be able to eat their cupcakes! Your artist’s painting will also be hung in Nadia Cupcake’s restaurant for the duration of one week after the class! After that week you may pick up your artwork at Nadia’s! When signing up for the class please put down any food concerns/ allergies and your artist’s favorite cupcake flavor. (You can look ahead to the flavors of the day on Nadia Cupcake Website).

Your artist can also bring objects from home for our other still life paintings. Things that are important to your student make a great addition to their still life painting! Other objects to paint into the still life will be provided as well by the teacher.

Please dress to make a mess!
