This is one of four poppy field paintings Monet created near his home in Giverny, France. This painting was an important step in his creative process in the Impressionist movement.

You will create your own beautiful painting using non-toxic water mixable oil paints. Learn Monet’s techniques such as scumbling, layering, complementary colors. Learn and have fun too!

Supplies are provided and you’ll leave with a beautiful 9 x 12 painting. Please bring a pan or box to carry your wet painting back and forth to class.

Please note that painting is messy you may want to bring disposable gloves and an apron, but it’s not required. Hobby Lobby has good prices.
