This class is inspired by the German/American artist, Alfred Bierstadt. Bierstadt was a member of the Hudson school of Artists which began in the 1850's. These artists which to capture God's creation in America in a lofty and grandiose style. This class is done in 2 afternoons. Students will paint a 10 x 20 canvas and learn shading and highlighting of rocks, water and trees. We will be using water-mixable oils, so there are no toxic fumes from paint thinners.

All suppliers are included - just bring an apron or cover-up
