Watercolor Sketching Series - Oct 9-16-23-30 - with Nancy Larson
Watercolor sketching is a fun hobby that you can take anywhere. Watercolor sketching is not about accuracy or perfection. It is about capturing a moment, an event, or a memory that you can recall as you review your sketchbook. You might find yourself at a baseball game, sitting at a picnic table, or on a river rock. Sketchers tools are small – we paint small and use a small paint palette. We loosely sketch proportions and placement with pencil, then we ink our image before we add color. You won’t need watercolor experience or drawing skills to enjoy this class. We will learn basic sketching skills. You will find your watercolor painting will improve by learning to simplify and use paint expressively. We will sketch from objects and photographs.
