I had the honor of being an Artist in Residence at the Olive Stack Art Gallery in Listowel, Ireland last year. Listowel is only a few miles from beautiful cliffs in Ballybunion. I took the bus there several times and admired them for hours, taking photos of the many caves and corners. This is based on a photo I took of those cliffs. I have included the photo of the actual cliff.

I created the mosaic using Italian smalti. Smalti is a unique medium as it reflects the light in many directions because of the different angled cuts of glass.
