For my first Advocates Show, I thought it only appropriate to start at the beginning. My photographic journey began in August, 2009, while on vacation in California. Enjoying the Capitola Warf, I walked up to a common Rock Pigeon sitting on a drinking fountain where he appeared to be waiting for a drink of water. Taking my chance, I quickly snapped the photo. That shutter release ignited my passion for photography. It was at that moment that I went from taking simple family photographs to enjoying the thrill of seeking out interesting subjects.
