In this acrylic painting course, Gena will be covering a step by step process on how to paint a striking portrait. These techniques will give you the foundations to capture friends, family members or perhaps public figures if you wish in paint. We will cover laying the ground, plane shifts, big brush to small brush techniques, complementary color painting and more. Gena studied at the Milan Art Institute, and completed their Mastery Program, so we will be applying techniques that she learned through the MAI throughout this class. Feel free to bring an 8.5” by 11” print out of a source of your own, otherwise there will be plenty of sources that Gena will have for you to choose from. Remember acrylic paint can get messy, and it does not wash out so dress accordingly.
