BACKGROUND

This is a new series of events that we are initiating this fall season with The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes’ support. They will be held in a vacant retail unit within the shopping mall.

We are inviting local artists with original handmade art and high-end crafts to apply.

FEES

• Space Fee: $45

• Accepted artists will enjoy an approximate space of 10’ x 10'.

• Artists will be accepted on a first come basis pending item acceptance.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Apply now for:

  • Saturday, October 12 - no refunds after September 21 - registration closes October 4

  • Saturday, October 26 - no refunds after October 5 - registration closes October 18

  • Saturday, November 2 - no refunds after October 12 - registration closes October 25

  • Sarurday, November 30 - no refunds after November 9 - registration closes November 22

• Full payments MUST be made electronically at the time of registration. If your application is not accepted, you will receive a full refund.

RULES/REGULATIONS

• We require that all artwork is handmade by the exhibiting artist.

• The events run from 11am to 5pm. We will have space access on the morning of each event from 9:00am and will need to vacate by 6:30pm.

• We will share space allocations the week before the event.

• All art must fit on your tables or on a free-standing display and stay within your space.

• Artists may only sell items represented in their application.

• The exhibiting artist must be at least 18 years of age.

• We do require that the artists are present throughout the entire event and artist booths must be open all hours of the events. No late arrivals or early exits. 

• You will need your own display; tables and down-to-the-floor coverings.

• The Maple Grove Arts Center will assign vendors their booth space.

• Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and setup. The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes and the Maple Grove Arts Center are not responsible for any loss or damages. We advise you to have insurance. ACT insurance is great option for artists.

• All work must be for sale. Artists retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for the collection and reporting of applicable sales tax.

• Artists need to have a MN tax ID and be prepared to charge tax at the prevailing rate on their sales. If you need a sales tax ID, apply now to MN Tax office.

REFUNDS

• There are no refunds after the dates above and on the application form.
