If thoughts of being with those that have passed before us makes it easier to ponder – however one defines heaven – then why wouldn’t we believe in the possibility of this beautiful image? Some Indigenous cultures buried horses alongside revered members of their tribes. My cherished equine pal was cremated, but I visualize her spirit in horse heaven also. Hopefully in the future loved ones will show me where she’s been blissfully grazing on green grass until I show-up with a bag of carrots. The wings on these pasture horses are actually seashells.
