At the edge of the village of Kunoy, a simple wooden gate leads into one of the Faroe Islands’ rarest landscapes. Kunoy Park contains the islands’ only true forest, a sheltered grove of trees planted in 1914 where a small stream winds beneath misty mountains. In a country shaped by wind and sea where trees rarely grow, the little forest feels quietly enchanted.
