“Graceful Tones”, By BarryDyar’24. When I wore a younger man’s clothes, I was influenced by a couple of graphic artists in the pen and ink mediums. During those years, both Aubrey Beardsley and MC Escher had an impact on my early style. I didn’t care much for ink washes, and I discovered tones could be created with space, lines, and stipple. Later, I introduced color with the silkscreen printing. Today I paint with Rebelle Pro7 and print with Giclee inkjet printers. 18”x24”, dbl mat, framed.
