These just looked so irresistibly juicy and full of life that I couldn’t resist painting them in watercolor. The vibrant colors and natural textures were the perfect inspiration for a still life study. I’m a self-taught watercolor artist, working primarily within the “Anna Mason” system — a technique that emphasizes delicate layering, precision, and a love of realistic detail. I find great joy in capturing the beauty of everyday subjects: ripe fruits, fresh vegetables, blooming flowers, and the occasional charming pot or vessel. Each piece is an exploration of light, color, and form — a quiet celebration of nature’s simple, stunning beauty.
