This painting is anonymously owned and has been exhibited only four times. It’s known for its vigorous and colorful brushwork in the foreground. It’s an example of the point where Monet began experimenting with painting series of paintings such as haystacks.

Learn some of Monet’s techniques such as scumbling and layering and complementary colors. Create your own beautiful painting using non-toxic water mixable oil paints. Learn and have fun too!

All supplies are provided and you’ll leave with a beautiful 9 x 12 canvas painting. Please bring a pan or box to carry your wet painting back and forth to class.

Please note that painting is messy you may want to bring disposable gloves and an apron, but it’s not required. Michaels and Hobby Lobby have aprons.
