Beginners Oil Painting - Vincent Van Gogh’s, Irises – With Linda LiaBraaten June 1 & 8, 7-9pm
Vincent van Gogh chose to enter an asylum in Saint-Rémy, France, and within the first week he began Irises. Learn why the flowers appear blue when Irises are purple.
Learn some of Van Gogh’s techniques. We will discuss what influenced Van Gogh and his creative process.
Create your own beautiful painting using non-toxic water mixable oil paints. Learn and have fun too!
Supplies are provided and you’ll leave with a beautiful 9 x 12 painting. Please bring a pan or box to carry your wet painting back and forth to class.
Please note that painting is messy you may want to bring disposable gloves and an apron, but it’s not required. Hobby Lobby has good prices.
