On a recent trip to the Florida panhandle we were able to visit Appachicola, an oyster fishing town with lots of history.

The graveyard was fascinating. Tall oaks were draped in Spanish moss, giving the graveyard an ethereal atmosphere. We felt like the ghosts off the graveyard were following us around as we studied the tombstones.

To add to the creepiness, we stumbled upon a dead armadillo that looked like a voodoo offering to the Gods. Luckily no ghosts followed us home.
