After reading Cicely Mary Barker's Flower Fairies books in her childhood, a woman in my neighborhood became inspired to create a real fairy garden for children and adults on her land. Children and their parents love to come to the garden and play inside the fairy house. There is a message inside the little house that we are all one. There is also one of the Barker's Flower Fairy books inside the little house along with fairy wings to wear, children's artwork, and a box with lollipops.

This fairy garden inspired me to read Cicely Mary Barker's books and to create the artwork about this magical place. I added some playfulness and fairy tale elements into this painting. Enjoy.
