The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen inspired me to create this artwork. I chose this book to send a message of Loving Yourself, as you are Beautiful as you are. It does not matter what other people think about you.
In this painting we see the transformation of the ugly duckling into a beautiful swan after it grew up. We too can grow both spiritually and as humans into beautiful "swans."
