“Seeking Ruby” is the story of two hummingbirds competing for Ruby’s attention. I like to combine realistic rendered hummingbirds in an abstract setting to create more interest in the painting. I love hummingbirds because besides being beautiful, they have some amazing characteristics such as flying an average of 30 miles per hour!
