This piece was really fun to make, and I connected with the subject, Mario Kart. As a kid and still today, I love playing as Princess Daisy or Princess Peach. I was able to create an illusion of a bomb blowing up on the canvas. This was unintentional, and I ended up working out for my piece. I wanted to create a unique part to this piece by using a mistake as something that creates the piece to have depth and character. This piece as a whole creates the message that we are all special and unique in our own way.
