“Pop Prince No. 102”

Although Prince began his career in the late 1970s, his iconic look is a great starting point for a music-themed pop art piece today. Inspired by a series Andy Warhol created of Marilyn Monroe in 1964, I took this photograph of a midway ride at the state fair. Patterns, fonts and colors were added after the image was enhanced to convey the feel of the modernist art movement.
