This mixed-media painting focuses on texture, layering, and color contrast. Students will explore palette-knife techniques to create bold sunflower petals, experiment with raised dot detailing, and learn how to balance vibrant colors against a calm background. This project encourages creativity, tactile exploration, and confidence in working with texture—perfect for beginners and intermediate artists alike.

Painting can be done on 8x10 inch canvas panel or a wooden coaster.
