Hi Everyone!
We’ve been working hard finding new instructors and developing new classes for both adults and youth. We’ve tried to expand our breadth of offering to new mediums and hope that you will see something that you already enjoy or tempts you to try something new and exciting.
We have now relaxed our COVID rules, and we can take up to 10 students per class and if you are fully vaccinated, the option to discard your mask. This makes it great for a group of friends to make an evening out of it, to relax and de-stress together. Advocates can get 10% off all shown prices by entering their unique code at checkout. If you need a reminder of your code, please contact Katie Walters. If you want to become an advocate and use this discount please visit our advocacy page.
Youth Summer Camps
For the very youngest among us, we have our Kinder Exploration class, this is for 5 - 6 year students, and in past years has proved very popular! Katie also has the All About MN sessions. Her Chalk It Up Class is currently being re-scheduled to accommodate more students. Watch this space!
We also have a new instructor, this summer, Scott Rolfs. He is a cartoonist and would love to share his art with our younger set, drawing super heroes, dinosaurs and other fun imaginative stuff!
He has several options, Monster Mash Up, Super Powered Character Creation, Kaiju Creation, Dynamic Comic Covers, Design-A-Saurus, Cartoon Animal Mash Up & Fantasy Characters! Truly, something for all budding artists from 7 - 14 years old.
For the children that would like to make some handmade jewelry, we have a class, Go Bead It!, with local artist, Lise Spence-Parsons. Each student will take home three bracelets, with a little background on beads thrown into the mix too!
Or spend two afternoons, with Alondra Garza, creating a paper sculpture, piñata style! Learn about piñata’s culture. Explore different colors of tissue and cellophane paper with the Piñata’s Are Art!
